Our lawyers regularly appear before the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court, as well as before the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, the Court of Appeal for Ontario, the Federal Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Canada.

The lawyers at Jared Will & Associates have been counsel in a number of successful precedent-setting cases, including the constitutional challenge to the designated country of origin ('safe country') regime (Y.Z. v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration)) and the 2013 Supreme Court case in which the court incorporated international criminal law standards for purposes of exclusion and inadmissibility for war crimes and crimes against humanity (Ezokola v. Canada (Citizenship and Immigration)).  The firm continues to be involved in litigation challenging the Safe Third Country Agreement. We also also working on a test-case challenging the constitutionality of Canada’s security inadmissibility provisions.

We have well-developed expertise in refugee claims from Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Iran, Libya, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey, and Eritrea, among other countries. English, French, Arabic, Urdu, Spanish and Hebrew are spoken by members of the firm.
